I worked hard, and earned good grades. I was able to perform and attend concerts. Work hard, but don't be too intimidated by teachers who may not be acting ethically. WORK HARD AND BE GOOD!!

You are probably automatically accepted if you have anything higher than a 3.0 GPA. I know a lot of out of state kids got in with lower GPAs (Towson wants your money).

I applied to one other school in NYC where I got in but couldn't afford the private school tuition. I decided to apply to Towson, and not Maryland because I grew up in Annapolis and Baltimore and wanted to be near the city at a cheap price. To be honest, I didn't write an essay and the only recommendation letter was a generic one from a summer program I went to. In fact, because I moved out of state for my senior year, it cost just as much money as the private school.

Assuming you want to go, just make sure you have a HS GPA above 2.6 and mediocre SAT scores. I'm sure its a good fit for someone out there.
